Tuebor is the word found on Michigan’s state flag; in Latin it means ‘I will defend’ and refers to the state’s frontier position.
The Tuebor pledge — as a call to arms for those who want to actively invest in the state’s incredible founders — was started by investors and Michiganders Reilly Brennan and Chris Thomas in 2023. We say that taking the Tuebor pledge is like supporting ‘Michigan’s next sports team.’
